What is PKR?
Partial Knee Resurfacing (PKR) may be an option if osteoarthritis affects only one compartment of the knee. In partial knee resurfacing, only the damaged or diseased surfaces of the knee joint are replaced, leaving much of the natural bone and soft tissue in place.
